The Morning After

It’s officially the first real “workday” of 2026. But is it? Most people will wait until next Monday and stretch the holiday pause a little longer. Not me. I work every day. Orientation doesn’t follow the calendar.

This morning, instead of diving into the sludge-world topic of the day, I want to address us. Our direction, and how we choose to move through what’s in front of us. If you have no goals, you’re probably in the wrong place. But goals without orientation are just motion.

With CryptoTruth’s X feed suspended, I’m picking through the detritus of articles I intended to write and reassembling the original path. The noise is gone. What’s left is quiet. And that feels fitting. This feels like an orientation day. I hope yours is quiet and reflective too.

The world is in a perpetual state of chaos. The topic doesn’t matter, it’s always there. So this morning, staying grounded in first principles is essential to how I carve out my day.  Before adding more motion, I’m asking a simple question: how will my choices interact with the chaos around me?  It started before I climbed out of bed.

We’ll see. Tomorrow’s already on its way.
